What scripture or saying would you consider to be your life verse?

My life verse was spoken to me audibly when I was not even asking. I had been pondering about going to grad school for an MA Theology and Spiritual Direction. As I lay drifting off to sleep that night I heard a voice say Third John Six. I gave it little thought. But when it happened a second and third time, I thought I had better check it out.
3 John 6 Help them in their journey in a manner worthy of God.
Being a sufficient definition of Spiritual Direction, it has become an inescapable tone of my spiritual life ever since.

Hi Joe,
One of my favorite sayings was told to me by Robert Johnson (who authored the books "He", "She" and "We"). Apparently a man came to a yogi and told him about some big error he had made. The yogi told him, "Oh well, don't feel guilty about it and don't do it again."
Best wishes,
ray

That's cool Ray. That's a great quote!
I've studied all of Robert Johnson's books in that series! Wonderful stuff.
